Maa kya hoti hai

Maa who hoti hai jisko shabdo mei baya mahi kiya jaa sakta!
Aur shaadi ke baad beti ke liye to who sab kuch hi hoti hai!
Ye daastein mohobabat to sadiyo purani hai, ye heer ranjha aur laila majanoo to abhi ki kahani hai..

Par muje apni Maa sabse priya hai! Mai ye nahin kehti meri maa sabae achi hai.. Par meri Maa mere liye sabse achi hai..

I Plead~ Before Raising a Voice Raise a Dumbbell

                       Save Girls Save Nation

Women Safety in India has become the most discussed topic in the nation especially after Asifa Bano rape case. The innocent 8 year old Kashmir girl was raped, drugged and starved for days before being brutally murdered. Its a tragic incident that happened to a place which was once termed as the Heaven on Earth - The magnificent Kashmir. But I guess neither earth nor heaven is spared by the devils of mankind. The heads are down , eyes are wet, heart is filled with anguish.

Everyday the vulnerable common girl wakes up in the morning with a hope of a safer and fair society but to her dismay her hope dies with the news of another brutal rape .

I am telling you girls  - "Nothing is going to change unless we don't change".
I question you . From whom are we asking to save you ? The Government ?  Out of 6 accused in the Asifa Bano rape case , 1 is an ex-government official and 4 are police officers. Or are we expecting a known person to protect us ?  More than 90% of the time its the known who does the rapes . There is no escaping from them.

If you slip while walking you gather yourself and stand up. You do not expect or wait for others to help you. So why wait now?  No one else will come for your rescue. You have to be your own Hero.

Its time that girls start taking responsibility of their safety in their own hands instead of depending on their brother or father or husband. Be self sufficient. Learn Karate,do push-ups, do weights to build muscles. Make yourself strong and equip yourself for any situation.

I know its pretty hard to do because since childhood we girls are taught to be sophisticated and be girly all the time. There is no harm in it but efforts should be made to make yourself powerful and strong. Do strength training don't worry you will gain muscle or you will look less attractive.  Muscle is the new swag.

When that forbidden moment arrives neither your brother nor your husband and even your father would be there to protect you. It will be you against them. And that moment only your strength and wisdom can save you.  Remember! you are not weak. How can you forget Geeta Phogat, the freestyle wrestler who won India's first ever gold medal in wrestling at the Commonwealth Games in 2010.

You are stronger than your imagination and far more strong than your false beliefs . Rise above them and get rid from the shackles of being sophisticated and weak.

God forbid if ever in your life you face this situation then give your all, use your body as weapon and don not give up till your last breath.  Atleast give them a fight of their life so that in the future they will never think of this heinous act again!

Having said that I feel giving a death penalty to a rapist is a commendable step taken by Indian government and I just hope the verdict would be taken early in such cases. But my heart cries when I see the stats stating 5 rape cases every day in Delhi in 2017 means approx 1825 cases yearly. The figures are horrifying and that too from a country where most of the deities are women.

We are sacred but we are scared

We are layered but we are not spared

This time I urge not to men but to women to 'save themselves to save the nation'

Because if not you, then nobody had and nobody will.
Be Brave not because there is no other option ,
be brave because you want to be one.

You Believe you can so you would.

This is the right way of Living.

The culprits are never strong, they are drunk they are weak
They cannot take a Leap until you don't succumb to them

               Nirbhaya Case Criminals

     Be Strong Mentally and Physically.
There is lot you can do
You can Shout, You can Fight you can teach them what is Right.

Always remember you are as strong as you want to be
Teach yourself your daughter, sister and wife the art of
martial arts before the cooking class.

Its not about You, its not about Me its about Us the community

The community who gives birth to a child with so much hardship and toil and later on her daughter or she herself gets raped by the child of other women.

No, this is not acceptable and neither we are going to spend rest of our life in the fear of getting assaulted.

It’s a Battle for Survival and not a matter of choice!

We, women of India take pledge to be strong and powerful with each passing day.
We will not let anybody take us for a Ride!
We are here to survive and to live a long and a beautiful Life

I Pledge to be my own Hero!

From a Stone Peddler to a Gold Meddler~ Women does it All

This strong image depicts what young Indian women can achieve with their hands.

The one has stone in her hand and the other one has even the mightier, pistol.

But one hurts nation and the other brings glory to the nation.

I agree you might have issues. I agree you might have been discriminated.
But are you too stoned for your own future??

Its time to think rather rethink of your choices.
The choices which can either take you to the zenith of success or
will make you nothing more than a wasted substance.
The answer lies within you and so is the power.
There can be noises, there can be revolt.
But remember, its you who matters the most.

Think twice or even thrice before you pick up that stone girl.
Its not them you are hurting the most but its you.

This is not what you want. This is not what you aspire for.
You dream of a happy and a beautiful life
Don't shatter your dreams by blindly following others
                                         Wake up before the dawn,

If you want to be heard, be strong first.
Be so strong that your voice can never be left unheard.
                                            Aspire to Inspire Others !

                                            The choice is completely yours!
Whether you want to be stone peddler or gold meddler.

Tragedies of India~ Honor Killing

mere to akheein num aur jaan jaane se lagi hai!!
ye baat uski hai,
jo meri zindagi ka hissa tha, jaisa bhi tha mera tha!!

who jo mera wajood tha, mera saathi tha
bada hi albalela aur saarpheera sa tha!!
kehtha tha tum laal raang mei bahut hassen lagti ho
par aaj khud laal rang ke khoon mei latpat padha hai!!

maar daala usse unhone jo mere thikadaar bante hai
who jo haq jaamate hai kyoki mai unka khoon hu!!
Shayad khoon ka karz khoon se hi chukna tha!
ye baat uski hai
jo meri zindagi ka hissa tha, jaisa bhi tha mera apna tha

Khuf muje iss baat ka nahi ki mera kya hoga,
mai to jee loongi uske pyaar ke sahare, uska balidaan ke sahare!!
Muje to daar iss baat ka hai ki aapka kya hoga
na samaaj aapka raha na beti!!

usko khoke bhi usko paa gayi mai baaba,
who ab dil mei nahi rhoon mei dhadhkta hai!!
Kyoki rooh dil rukne ke baad bhi saath nahi chodte  baaba!

ye baat uski hai
jo meri zindagi ka hissa tha, jaisa bhi tha mera apna tha!!

Zero Suicide Village

 Let women do the talking!
And I mean it!..

All of our time we have been hearing sad news of farmers committing suicide because of drought or famine! Ever heard that the women of the hamlet saved the farmers from committing suicide. And with their will and wisdom they had the turnover of the village over 1 crore and they are generating jobs.

Well this is the story of an ordinary village having extraordinary courageous women of Hinglajwadi in Maharasthra where women do the talking and men take pride in it.

Few years back like any other village committing suicide by farmers was a common sight for them.

The plight of the lady of the house worsens as she has to pay the debts and a family to feed. Eventually she is forced to work in farms and her children drop out from the school. But the women of this village took the command in their hands and were determined to overcome the suicides.

They came up with a remarkable business model.

They asked for a small piece of land from their husbands. Initially they were reluctant to give them but later they agreed. Women started growing things which require less water like pulses and vegetables and instead of purchasing the pesticides from the market they used organic pesticides. It reduced their cost of growing the crops. They grew enough for their families and they started selling the surplus vegetables. Instead of growing cash crops they started poultry farms, goat rearing, dairy business and beauty parlors. They went to government officials to take the aid which government grants to farmers. They did everything possible to make their business model a  hit with limited resources. Their happiness and courage multiplied 10 times when their own man started coming to seek advice from them. Now no man commits suicide and even if their is a deficit of rainfall they have enough to survive.  Even money lenders are out of there job now.

This is what real women empowerment is. If women is given the power they can bring happiness even to a dead land.

Learn to be Brave: Contrast

Helpless Women to SuPerWomen.

Two Girls Different Stories

This is a story of a young 15 year old girl who has just entered in her teens. The victim, is a class 9th student from Uttar Pradesh, India. Like any ordinary day she was walking in her nearby market where she was again chased by her stalker.

She was fending off his advances for a while. She also informed her parents about him. So on that day too he was stalking him and she warned him not to do that again. He couldn't tolerate him being rebuffed by a girl so he chopped off her hand with a sword. He tried a lot to chop her other hand aswell but a group of people catch hold of him. Police came and he was arrested and girl was send to the hospital.

Although the man has been caught but the little girl lost his arm for life.

The Contrast

This is a story of a brave Delhi University girl. She was travelling to her Nanny's house via rickshaw when suddenly a phone snatcher snatched her phone. She without wasting any further second jumped off the rickshaw and started chasing the snatcher. She took an empty 20 litre water bottle lying on the road in hand and again started running towards him. As soon as she got hold off him she started beating him with the water bottle and didn't stop till he himself sat on road on his knees.
With one hand on his collor she dialed 100. Police came on the spot and arrested him.

This is the story of bravery and courage. She already knew she would chase him and would caught him.

The need oft he hour is to make yourself stronger with your body and with your mind.

 Lets take a PLEDGE

I will not get scared, I will fight back.

I will not be weak, I will be the strongest.

Lets pledge!

I will not not be the victim anymore but a warrior.

Women Empowerment: The True Sense

Today Women empowerment is so wrongly portrayed.

Its not about wearing skinny clothes,
its about wearing anything and feeling confident about it.

Its not about asking for alimony money,
its about taking care of herself and her family on her own.

Its not about asking for reservation for being a weaker gender,
its about working hard and earning the position because you deserve to be there

Its about choosing the unconventional path and let the world know you have arrived!
